This grantee dba American Samoa Family Planning Program (ASFPP) is part of the Lyndon B. Johnson Tropical Medical Center, the only hospital in America Samoa. ASFPP has managed the territory's Title X Family Planning (FP) program since 1998. It delivers services to approximately 1,800 persons through one clinic on the most populous island of Tutuila. Program staff also conduct biannual visits to the less populated Manu'a islands.1

Overview of Services Offered

As a Title X recipient, ASFPP provides a broad range of FP services including pregnancy prevention and birth spacing, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services.
