Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) is a decentralized state health department that has been delivering Title X services since 1983. It delivers services to more than 73 percent of the state's population through two direct service sites and one mobile clinic.1

  • FP users with incomes below 100% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) – 1,738 (55%); all FP users with incomes below 250% of FPL – 2,753 (87%)
  • Number of tests performed for gonorrhea – 2,790, syphilis – 1,727, and HIV – 1,693
  • Number of female users who received a chlamydia test – 2,441 or a Pap test – 832

Overview of Services Offered

As a Title X recipient, Southern Nevada Health District provides a broad range of FP services including pregnancy prevention and birth spacing, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services. The services are voluntary, confidential, and provided regardless of ability to pay.3 The list below is an Overview of Services Offered within the SNHD network.
